ive been working on this tape for about 4 months now, and im extremely happy with how it came out :)

thank you to all the people who lended me their assistance in chops or drums, it really means the most that you guys gave some of your free time to help make this tape feel whole. this tape is pretty special to me, obviously because it marks my 20th birthday, but also because it's a culmination of all my time making beats, developing my own sound and creating a tape that's coherent and smooth.

this is my longest tape yet, and i believe it could not have turned out any other way. now, obviously the length of the tape doesn't mean anything to me for any other tape, but it does for this tape specifically, because i feel it's my answer to all my 6+ years of beatmaking and being so worried that people might not like a tape of mine, or getting depressed that one of my tapes didn't get a lot of likes and reposts, or feeling that i have to make my tapes shorter to account for the ever-decreasing attention span of my generation, myself included. i wanted to make this tape the way i made it, and it just so happened to be 40+ minutes long, and i hope that still allows you to digest the tape for all it's worth.

anyway, sappy message aside, i'm immediately starting work on my next tape. however, production will slow down so i can have more time to focus on school and my job, so i hope you guys understand and can still ride this journey with me. love yall, thank you for stickin with me for all this time, and here's to more years to come :)))
